I'm happy to introduce our Rear Hub and Free Hub Service as part of our comprehensive offering.

What is a Hub / Freehub?

its the assembly at the centre of your rear wheel, It contains bearings for the smooth running of the rear wheel and Free Hub and also contains the drive mechanism responsible for transferring the power from the rear cassette to the rear wheel.

So it has a very important and tough job to do.

The Free Hub requires regular maintenance as over time dirt and moisture will contaminate the internal mechanisms and prevent the correct operation of the Free Hub whilst increasing wear and tear.

The Bearings in the Rear Hub and Free Hub also need to be maintained, as once they wear thy will lead to rough running and if allowed to get very bad, will result in noticeable play in the rear wheel.

The correct tools and knowledge are necessary to service the Rear Wheel Hub and Free Hub.

I have a fully equipped workshop with all the necessary tools and equipment needed to service the Hub and Free Hub.
